Hugh Joseph qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and set up his own practice in 1997, before merging with Jennifer McCarthy in 2007. Hugh specialises in Personal Injury and Employment Law. Hugh is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and is also an Accredited Mediator.  

Hugh’s interests include cycling and walking. Hugh also enjoys skiing and is fluent in French.

Jennifer McCarthy is a solicitor specialising exclusively in Employment Law. She set up her own Employment Law practice in 2004, before merging with Hugh Joseph in 2007. Jennifer has lectured on Employment Law topics at Liverpool and Manchester Universities and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Jennifer is the Employment Law member on the Stockport Law Society Committee. She is also a mediator specialising in workplace mediation.

In her spare time Jennifer is a keen runner and has participated at a number of organised races.

Zoe Richmond has been with the firm since 2000, she specialises in Personal Injury and Employment Law. Zoe is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and she is involved with high value litigated Personal Injury cases.

Helen Harradine is a solicitor specialising in Employment Law. Helen has provided legal advice within the public and private sector since 2000 and obtained a Masters in Employment Law in 2001. She has also worked as a HR manager for a Company at Manchester Airport and consequently provides practical HR and legal expertise. Helen Deals with a wide range of employment disputes including Tribunal work and advice and assistance on HR matters. Helen is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

In her spare time Helen enjoys acting at the Stockport Garrick Theatre,
singing and playing the cornet and piano. Helen also likes to find time
for shopping and watching football.
